I posted earlier about this seat. Well, I got it finally. Here's the thing...It's supposed to fit my bike ('05 Fatboy) but it's just a touch off. The tail section doesn't line up. The hole for the screw is about a half inch further back than the hole in the fender. Has anyone had experience with these? It's not a tough fix but want to get other's input before making mods to something that shouldn't need it. Thanks, in advance.
Update: Looking at it again, I'm thinking there must be a difference not mentioned in the catalog. Even though it says it fits my bike, I think there might be subtle changes in the SE Fatboy. My main concern is the Fender struts. Does the SE come with a wider tire? This seat sticks out where it should follow the line of the fender strut. Might just have to return it.
