Default AIM95 vs SE VPC

Is there really any difference between the VP95LT and the SE VPC? I can get the AIM for 244.00 on Amazon or the SE for231.00 at Boardtracker. I will also need the derby spacer. What are your thoughts?

I tried to get the specs on the SE version, and my local dealership couldn't get them for me. Because of that, I went with my VPC from AIM (though AIM DOES make the SE version), because I wanted the assurance that I had the exact spring/VPC combo that I was looking for.

Your question is timely actually; Bates and I were discussing this in detail along with a couple of others (Oklahomalake & Skratch). A search will bring up that recent thread that just took place a day or two ago.

Good luck!

check the clamping specs, the different models have different specs. i think (though i could be wrong) that the se version is equivalent to the vpc92t which aim no longer has info for on their website.

Thanks gipper. I guess I missed that thread when I first did a search. Found it and it was a good read. Didn't realize AIM made the SE vpc for Harley. For that little of a difference I will go with the VP95.

A concerted effort, and our pleasure.
