Default Rush Slip ons/pipes

I went to bike week here in Maryland and heard a bunch of bikes. I liked the Rush slips on with 2 inch baffles as the best for sound. Also, the Rush guy suggested I go with pipes because they will give me more power and be cooler (less heat on the legs). Do you guys agree?

Lastly, I'm thinking of getting a power commander and screaming eagle high flow air filter as well for my 2010 Heritage. Should I get them all and then get it dyno'd? Is there any order I should do things in order to do it right?

Thanks,
Tony

Call Fuelmoto. He can set you up with everything you're asking for. You can install it in about two hours and won't need a dyno.

I went the rush route first before the full exhaust. They were pretty good but do it right get the full exhaust. You will save yourself some money in the long run.

Have you noticed more power and less heat since doing the full exhuast? Did you do air filter and tuner as well at the same time?

I did the RUSH Slip On's first. Along with SE High Flow AC, A Power
Commander USB III and a Dyno tune. Bike ran good, sounded good, gained horsepower & torgue. But then in six months I switched over to a full exhaust system ,,Vance & Hines BSS, I then traded out my paper SE AC Filter for a KN AC Filter and had the bike re Dyno Tuned. I gained another 5 HP and a lil torgue. It runs like a scalded dog. So for "me", hindsight is 20/20 cuz I now have RUSH slip ons in my garage..doing nothing. I wish I would of done it right the first time.

Rush slip ons with 2" baffles, PCV, and RSD air filter. I like the way they look and sound but still wish I had gone full exhaust. If you have the cash go with the full and do it all at once. Call Jaime at Fuel Moto. He will steer you right.

I have Rush 2" slip-ons. They are great and do exactly what I needed of them. Primarily, I needed to at least know the bike was running. The Rush pipes filled the order. The bike sounds GREAT. I can hear my bike, and it isn't too loud. Just right and mellow. However, you aren't going to gain any performance advantages. Supposedly it cools the engine down some...but I can't tell you as I only owned the bike a week before putting the pipes on and didn't pay attention. I consider these a good buy until I can actually put full pipes on the bike.

With that being said, if you can go with a full set, do it. There is no sense in stone-stepping when you can cross the creek in one swift move.

I went to O.C. bike week,,what a blast,,I have powermaster (by rivco), on my 09 ultra ,they look and sound the same as rush,,but,,,they are garenteed not to blue as long as you use some kind of fuel managment,,they also garentee the sound,,if you don't like the sound,,you can exchange the baffels for free,,,I went with 2" and they are perfect,,they also wrap and clamp the baffel materil so it stays put...price is about the same as rush,,about $350.00,,I don't know how you can go wrong,,,
