Default A beer and some Floyd

Sitting in the garage today and cleaning the fat boy up from bike week here in OC MD. Had a few beers ( three-really) and threw some Pink Floyd ( Pulse) in the CD and thought it might be cool to pull the reflectors off tonight. WELL not the best idea!!!
What a PIA. I did it on my deuce and other HD but the reflectors on this fat boy must have been JB welded on at the factory. I used heat, fishing line, plastic scrapers, screw drivers and a whole bottle of goo gone! After throwing my back out ( not really) and throwing every F-bomb and others I got all four off but there was all the factory crap left behind an all but one. A 15 minute job turned into 1.5 hours.
OK , Needed to vent.
Going to change the bars this week but am thinking maybe some other cd ( Led Zeppelin, Heads, Stones) and maybe rum and not beer.
Can't wait to do the 107" this winter. I can only imagine what will go wrong with that one.

If I drank beer for the length of time it took me to swap my bars, I'd have died of alcohol poisoning, LOL!

LMAO. Maybe I need to invite some people over and tap a keg but if I did the bars would be facing the wrong way.

I like to drink a few beers when I clean my bike too. At least I've got enough sense to know that I can only look at it after that until the next morning. Hope we all do. Got to keep those shiny sides up.

When I did my bar's I had 3 12 packs and two buddies come over... we started at 7 and finally got done at 2 a.m..... and I still had little odds and ends to do.

The stereo in the garage played whatever was on the rock and roll station all nite long.

You're talking about stuff like Ummagumma?, I have it too. I have almost every record they put out in the market. They are my all time favorite band...

Atom Heart Mother, Ummagumma, Saucer, More....those between Piper and Meddle.

As Roger once said, it was a bunch of wonky noises and banging on things. There's a gem here and there, like Careful with that Axe Eugene, Julia Dream.

There is a funky (very pink floyd NOT) song that I really like, I'm sure you've heard it, Saint Tropez, different but still cool.
