I think California has other important things to worry about than if Joe Blow's motorcycle is too loud.. Freaking Liberals...
I live in S. CA. and I don't think they have more important things to think about than Joe Blow's loud motorcycle.
CA isn't the way it used to be....it is very conservative. Orange County is so tight you can hear the squeaking all the way to the Bay and that's pretty far away.
What will the Governator do? I hope he jack's 'em all by vetoing this bill on his way out the door.
In his home country new Harley owners can't even change the spec or size of their tires without going through a load of paperwork and reinspections. Aftermarket parts fitted to the bike have to have a number on them and seal of approval from the govmt. veh.dept.
The average joe there has to go through a lot just to make slight upgrades..I mean...fitting a lower muffler in place of the top one..(cos its more open)is a major naughty boy thing to do lmao...just hope for your sakes Mr.Universe has'nt got connections back home.
I would never buy another thing at Harley Davidson of Anaheim-Fullerton after what Tom Scott just said in the local rag. He has no back bone and he is out of touch with his customers. How dare him turn against the same people that put food on his table. If he hates the noise that bad then SELL OUT RICH GUY YOU DONT NEED THE BUSINESS NOR THE MONEY!
look, i'm not even from CA but i'm just gonna chime in with this.
when **** hits the fan, i'm moving to wyoming.
right now, in my COUNTY in new york there's 2.3 million people inhabiting 109.4 square miles of land.
in the whole STATE of wyoming there's 540,000 people sitting on 97,100 square miles.
that's 4 times MORE people on 887 times LESS land.
i'm gonna move out there, run my bike loud, run my truck loud, smoke my cigars (see other thread) and generally enjoy my life, knowing that if i'm at home and see someone coming, i'll probably get to shoot them.
