Default Quite Pipes

Hi from Alabama, lookin' for some fairly quite pipes for a 2007 Heritage. I have a SE stage 1 air filter, thundermax auto tune, and stock exhuast. I did have Rush 1 3/4 slip-ons but they got too loud after the packing blew out. I'm looking for somthing a little better. D&D Fatcats 2 into 1, V&H pro pipes chrome 2 into 1 with quite baffel, Blackhole 2 into 1. I do like the look of the V&H long shots on a Heritage but they would be to loud I think. I don't really want any louder than the Rush before they blew out the packing. Don't mind the low end rumble just can't handle the mid-range noise. I work in audio so I need the ears. I know I could have replaced the packing in the Rush but they are gone and I want more low and mid power and a new look. I know this is kind of like the "whats the best kick drum mike" thread in the sound forums but I need some advice. Everything I see around B'ham is loud. Tell me what you think.

Thanks, David96B

You need the Supertrapp super meg. It is quieter than the above mentioned pipes and you can adjust the sound and power with the removable discs. By far the best pipe if youa re looking for "quiet".

Supertrapp is a great way to go. Love mine. Has a nice low rumble.

The supertrapp also makes some of the highest tq and hp around due to the disc design of it. I still like my fatcat better, but for quiet this is it!

Default D&D FatCat

Drew, I have the D&D with standard baffle on my 08 Deluxe. I have to say it's definately quiet compared to other exhausts I've heard. I'm not running a tuner or stage 1 yet. Bikes runs great and stays around 200 degrees for the most part. I'm kicking around the idea of going with PC-V and stage 1 in the near future. Will this change the sound of the exhaust? Wouldn't bother me if it got a little louder.
Thanks
Tom
