Default First Fatboy Lo Upgrade

I recently performed my handlebar upgrade on the Harley Fatboy Lo (FLSTFB). I was apprehensive at first, however once I made my first cut of the control wires I took off on my way to a completed set of Wild 1 Chubby Ape Hangers on my Bike.

This is my bike before the upgrade.

I began ripping the parts off quickly as I made my way down the upgrade trail:

Kept on tooling and before I knew it I was pulling the wires out and soldering away!

I decided to relocate the turn signals as I didn't want that crap up in my face when I was busy cooling my armpits!

A little comparison from old to new!

A few pics of the final product!

And Another!!

And i'm in love with my first Harley!!

I have had a blast doing the upgrade! The Handlebars are a little bit tricky to wire internally, however if you shrink wrap the wires tight and use some patience then you will succeed!!

I used the Wild1Chubby handlebars, magnum black braided cables, and a couple bolts to relocate the turn signals to the forks instead of the handlebars. Any Suggestions are welcome! Thanks Again for Viewing!

Nice! Those bars look great and good job doing it yourself! Next...you need some pipes and black fork lowers! Black for sure on that bike.

OH Boy! let the fun/money spending begin. Nice job. I did mine and found the same as you. Start doing it, be methodical, take your time, and the next thing you know your done. It seems like the throttle cables and the brake line could be snugged up to the bars a little.

Awesome! It's always nice to see people who can effectively work these things on their own. Maybe that's because I have a lot of difficulty with it? Lol

Good work. The bike looks great!

Any other plans for it?
