Default Derby cover
I have a 2006 fxsti & just put on a black derby cover. I used the old existing gasket, it appeared to be o.k.. Is this alright, or will I have problems? Thanks for all your help.

I highly suggest replace gaskets everytime! Better safe than sorry. Just keep an eye on leakage if you dont want to replace it. But old gaskets never set the same.

Thought I'd be fine because the gasket looked still new, but I didn't want to chance it & just put on a new one. Thanks for your replies.

I've reused my primary gasket 4 times now and still no leak

i buy new just to be sure. i would hate to be on a trip to nowhere and find a leak
