Hello all. I'm new to the forum and just wanted to take a second to introduce myself. My name is Stephen and I am a first time Harley owner. I bought a 2010 Softail Deluxe in June and have absolutely fell in love with riding. I've also fell in love with adding chrome and looking for the next neat thing to add, which led me to this forum. After seeing the thread for the Shotgun Shock and also the amount of Deluxe's out there with 21" fronts, I think I've got some garage time ahead of me this winter.
I will try to get some pictures up today, but I've got to get the bike cleaned up first. Rode 300 miles through pouring rain and 50 degree temperatures yesterday in Illinois and found that winter seems to be approaching quickly.
I can't wait to learn from all of you and share experiences with!
Congrats on the bike, this forum has a hidden membership cost, the price of seeing all the different mods and then budgeting some of them into your ride.
Ok - I was able to get the bike cleaned up and grabbed some pictures. I was disappointed to find that I lost the cap off my right grip on my cruise yesterday. I'll have to get to the shop tomorrow to get a new one. The paint scheme is the black ice/white ice, but even with a little sun pictures don't quite do it justice. I can't wait to start adding more mods this winter. I've only been on here a couple days and can't wait to pick out a 21" front, get the shotgun shock installed and get a louder pipe setup.
