Default Handlebars springer classic?

The stock handlebars on my springer classic make my back hurt between my shoulders. I am short and was wondering what a better set of handlebars for a short armed rider would be.

I've got 12" apes being made for me by http://www.brcustomcycles.com/Home_Page.php. I'm reaching forward pretty much straight arm with my stock bars.
Pullback risers would bring the bars alittle closer to you if you are happy with the stock bar look.

Have you tried loosening the handlebars and see if you have enough adjustment to ride comfortably?

I think they might be a little too far away and maybe too wide, how much can you adjust the stock ones?

Because of the internal wiring, the hand controls can only be rotated so much forward or back.

Worth trying to adjust the bars to see if just a different position is all that is needed.

I agree the stock bars are not that comfy. I put bars from an 11 crossbones on mine and they are much better for me. I got the cables and brakeline for that bike as well

The stock bars sure do suck! I put 8in apes on mine with the stock risers and love them. The stock cables and brake line worked back too. My bars came from road6 customs. Check them out and only about 150.00 bucks
