To each his own I guess. I like the studs myself. If I didn't, I would have bought a Fatboy or Deluxe as they are the exact same bike, just a different "theme".
Your bike looks interesting without the studs. My wife rides an 07 Heritage. Thank God she likes BOTH her studs, the ones on the bike and this old one, me.
I took the studs off my 09 then two weeks later put them back on(had some free time). Like the studs but thought about what they would look like painted with a black gloss or Hammerite type paint. This is what retired guys do when the rain comes to stay in Oregon.
Looks nice. Kinda remind me of the 2004 Heritage Springer - the ones without all the fringe.
Here's a Deluxe with those bags. Did the studs leave any holes?
Just have to say that that is one of the best looking Deluxes I have ever seen.... Now I have something to aim for when doing mods on my bike.
Can you help a brother out with exactly what pipes and mufflers those are?? and also exactly what bags those are and how you got them mounted up?? Also, did the saddlebag mini crash bars interfere with the pipes at all?
