I rode my 06 night train and when I was becking it in to a spot I noticed that my oil cap was not on all the way and oil was spewing out onto my pipes. I first thought maybe it was loose but when I got it home the cap was on ok but had drips of oil coming out from under it running down my bike.......any ideas on why this might be happening?

 

Check the o-ring on the cap to make sure its not messed up causing the oil to leak out.

 

had simular problem with stock dipstick and got the temperature one and havent had a problem since and can watch my temp now
