Default Light on front fender outdated

I have an '05 Heritage. it has that orange light mounted to the front of the front fender. The more I look at it, the more it looks like an outdated, and not really that good looking, piece of after-thought on the bike. Has anyone changed it to something else? I know they have the chrome front fender rail I could add. anyway, just looking for some ideas.

If you take that off now, and the bike becomes a rare classic 40-50 years from now (and the original light is gone), the bike will be worth maybe half as much as if you had left the light on. LOL!

I like it on mine but I do think the Fat Boy front fender is a better looking piece. Then comes the problem with what to do with the same issue on the back.

I never throw any bike part away - so if I still have it 50 years form now (I'll be 115), I can put it back on. As to the back, I was going to leave it alone. for some reason it doesn't look that bad.

I would just replace it with one of the HD custom fenders (the one that looks similar to the Fatboy fender). Personally, I like it as it adds to the nostalgic look IMO. I went with a brighter LED light and the smoked lense and the front and rear fender rails as you mentioned.
