Pretty simple question and if i owned a Heritage I'd know ... I want install bareback quick release hardware to a 04 heritage that already has quick release backrest set up.
Is there anything I need to know....about installing barebacks for the saddlebags...
Is the bareback hardware all i need.... do i need another bracket other than stock to get this done. Anyone with similar set up? thanks
I had the barebacks installed at an HD dealer with the detach kit from harley. You don't need anything else, I believe you need to use the longer bolts to mount both the barebacks and detach kit. Hope this helps...
Barebacks come in 2 styles. One style specifically for the quick disconnect sissybar and the other for the "non" quick disconnect sissy bar. Just get the ones for the quick disconnect and you'll be good to go.
