Just a little bit of info I learned back at the begining of 2010. I was going to install the nostalgic Speedo and Tach combo Harley part # 74556-04 on my bike. I learned however that Harley had these on hold due too a defect. I was told that too wait and an improved version would be released soon ( I never checked to see if they did.). My advice is if you get a used one or a new one, make sure it is manufactured in the middle part or newer of 2010. I'm not sure what the problem was on some of the Combo's, but that came from several of the online large online Harley stores. There was a few on ebay for sell, however I figured that I would wait, now with the economy slower than ever I can't afford it now.

This is the one that I have on my Heritage Springer. I Personally love it. gauges look sweet, easy to see in the day or night, and both functions are in one place. I think that if I had the external tach, that my eyes would be up and down on the gauges too much. Just my 2˘ though.
I had a HD tach mounted on the handlebars of my '01 softail. It looked killer and I lived by it. Now with my '10 Crossbones, I was going to paint it black and mount it. However, I thought better of it. The look would have been all screwed. I've put about 5,000 miles on the bones now and have gotten used to not having a tach. I would still like to add one, but it would definitely have to "look right". I'm still thinkin..........
Are there any hassels with getting the mileage reinstated? What are the other features...tripometer, clock.... My 05 doesn't have the clock built in and itd be a big bonus if this combo did!
