Chrome engine kit FLST
I bought a chrome engine kit for my FLST/I , got it for 20% of MSRP ($699.00 - 20% = $560.00). You people that have the FLST's with the polished aluminum covers should look into doing it. You get the Primary cover , trans top and side, rocker boxes , cam cover, tappet blocks, and derby cover..... My aluminum started getting dark after only 10,000 miles.........It really is a night and day difference. It only takes 4-5 hours to swap out the covers.

Not hard at all.....It helps to have the service manual handy....The kit comes with all the gaskets.....You don't get any chrome bolts with it, I just used the stock bolts, I might get the bolt covers later on.

How hard was it to install the Rocker Boxes and Tappet Blocks? Does the kit come with all of the required gaskets?
