Amen on the Heritage! I love this bike, had a Dyna before and the difference in vibration at 70 to 75 is hardly noticeable. I love this bike for in town and on the highway, really versatile. I only average around 6000 miles a year, but I love every mile of it.
HEY GEO - I like the pic you posted outside of Vantage! We have some great riding in this state man! I used to love in Tri-Cities and Wenatchee, now in Seattle area. Take care all...

I grew up in Tri-Cities and now live in the Seattle area (Mill Creek). Wife and I are looking to buy property in Dayton and escape the masses in a few years. Drop me an email and will get together and ride. Wife and I are doing the Oyster run this weekend, maybe we can plan to meet somewhere there. geoseismic@comcast.net
My '06 Heritage doesn't shake or vibrate at idle or when I do 90. Smooth!!! Mirrors don't even shake! I do scrape the floor boards a lot. The dealer told me not to worry though if I keep scraping them they will never rust!
Three years ago, I was split between the RK and Heritage. I didn't like the idle shake on the RK, but I also didn't like the 75+ vibration on the Heritage (on the rental). Given that twisties are more to my liking (and more of my skooting), I could live with the 75+ vibration. Now 16.000+ miles later, I am still loving my Heritage choice (04 FLSTCi).
Sometimes, the floor board scrape scares the wifey, but after she hits me in the back of the helmet, I go on, and on, and on, until the next scrape.
and what way did i vote love it dont see alot of things i would change i also have the bubbas quick disconect bags and sissy bar..like them alot. maybe a touch to much play when installed
but to go from travel to ride it does make it easy.have buddy with 06 street glide that thinks ill change my mind in a year or so but radio, more gauges, cig lighter, smaller bags & a fairing dont think so.
