I gotta say, I was kinda hoping this thread would gain more ideas for the bike. I was on my 2week leave from Afghanistan when I decided to have this done, so we didn't have time to come up with a very solid plan. I just gave the basic idea of what I was looking for and we're deciding on things as the bike progresses. I'm sure there are lot of cool ideas I could incorporate that I haven't thought of.
well since your going with a 300 in the back you should think about getting a beefier front end.
Also any thoughts of bulking up the motor to a 110 or something?
New oil tank?, something without the ribs.
And of course a custom exhaust, if your going custom you gotta dump the Big Radius cause we all got them.
I am going with a custom springer front end if that's something you were referring to by beefier front end. As far as the motor, yes...I definitely would like to have a 117 and plan to do so eventually. However, I already have 15K in the project so it's unfortunately going to have to wait a little while.
I do like those first pipes you posted. I think they'd fit the look of the bike. Will definitely have to look into that. Thanks.
Oh and as far as the big radius pipes....I had them back when HD still claimed they wouldn't fit. I preordered my bike when the Rocker was released...so to that...thanks for copying me everyone haha. (joking)
I was gonna get those streetwalker pipes but thien I figured I'd be scrapin them all the time and didnt wanna spend that much on something I was goona tear up. LOL

I pre-ordered mine before it was released. As soon as they posted a picture @ HD.com and stated coming this Sept 2007, (deposit placed in July 2007).
Of course the dealer didn't get it until May 2008.
Not my style, but those different pipes Hawaii-Five-Jo posted are cool looking.
