I like it, it's should look sick.
Are you gonna have them do anything on the rear of the bike?
Well, he's building a handmade rear fender and he's going to fit a 300 rear tire. I'm going to have the fender mounted with struts to remove the gap between the seat. He recommended a way to remove the gap but it wouldn't allow me to utilize my airsupension so I went with the struts. He says he has a way to build the rear fender so there isnt the usual huge gap between the fender and the tire so we'll see how it turns out. Is there anything you can recommend to do? I'm always up for suggestions that will make the bike better.
The gas tank looks awesome, looking forward for more pictures of your project.
I attached some pics from a bike with a nice solution on the gap between seat and fender IMO.
The tank may come out looking like this, I saw this bike last week at a local Toy Run.
Anyways it should be killer, now that you got the mods going you gotta think of a BADASS paint job to go with it. Paint could make or break any ride.
Also love the 300 tire idea.

Yeah does look good. The problem with doing that is that in order to utilize my airsuspension, I'd have to set the clearance with it lowered all the way. Then when I raised it, there'd be a huge gap. I'm just going to stick with going with the struts. He says he has a way to build the fender so that it looks snug as you get with a swingarm mounted fender. I'll see what he turns out.

That's a pretty badass tank. We had talked about putting a rib down the center so hopefully he still has intentions of doing that. I wasn't really expecting the smooth top but he says it's still rough.
As far as paint, I'm not sure what I want to go with yet. I 'm going to wait until the bike is assembled and let a painter look at it and come up with some ideas. I figure they're the creative ones and can probably come up with something far better than I could.
