Fatboy help...

Fatboy help...
Well, just picked up my Fatboy last week and am loving it. Now, I want to start doig a few custom things to it.
First off, I want to put a sissy bar on it. Here is a pic I found on this forum of one just like im looking for:
i think it is a harley part from what i can tell from the accessory book.
part number 52729-08
it says that it needs a docking kit and may require a turn signal relocation kit.
On top of the sissy bar, I want to add saddle bags.
The bags I really like are cross bones bags...part number 90419-08. Im not sure they will look right on a fatboy, so I'm not totally decided on what bags yet.
I am really confused on what parts I need though. Will that sissy bar work? Do I need a turn signal relocation kit? will the detachable bags work in conjunction with the sissy bar since they will both mount in the same place.
I had a guy also tell me that if you relocate the turn signals, you have to take the bike to Harley and have them hook it up to a computer to recalibrate the blinkers. Any truth to that?
