Default Whats up with the center post?
Is the vertical center post under the seat on a fatboy lo structual or just there to hold the coil?

Not real sure but I moved my coil and took the post out.

It is there just to hold the coil and makes it look like a custom as all after market frames have a welded in seat post. Mine is gone and moved the coil

The metal is so thin on the post that I do not see how it could actually support the frame. Many people have relocated the coil to where the horn is and removed the post.
