PM Dr. V-Twin...he can give you prices on both. If I remember correctly, RETAIL on the 422's is around $500ish, and Shotgun is in the $1500 range (but totally worth the extra $$$).

Yeah Dr V Twin all the way. The best around. PERIOD!! And it just depends. I was at first lookin at the 422s, then I looked at the hi-lo system, then the bleed and feed. When it came down to it, I liked the safety and comfort of the shot gun shock. Im installing one in december. My buddy has one on his heritage and its like night and day compared to stock shocks. But, its also about 900 to 1000 more than 422s. Pm Drew he can give you a DEAL on a shotgun shock. Thats who I talked to about ordering mine, Shawn is also a good dude at Dr Vtwin. Just depends how much you wanna spend. And how comfy you wanna ride. I just didnt want to get 422s and then later on decide I want Air ride. SO I might as well go ahead and get the shotgun.

I agree 100%. Spend the money now and don't look back. The problem with stock shocks or 422s, is that when adjusted to ride well solo they don't ride good 2 up and vice versa. With the shotguns it's a push of a botton to adjust the ride. PM Drew at DR V Twin. He's got a lower price than the $1550 advertised online elsewhere. I'll be ordering mine in December as well.

I've had 422's and now have Shotguns, well worth the money. It's like night and day.
