Will a speedo off a 2007 softail fit my 2008 softail, how different is the wiring? both have a 12 pin plug? Any ideas?

 

I think the wiring ,and plugs are the same , cause I had the new digital speedo and anolog tach that comes on the newer convertibles put on my bike it is an 07 FLSTC, and the moco says that these are for 08 and up models. My dealer looked it up and said he could not see any diff so we ordered it and it works just fine. He said it was a direct plug in. You will loose the distance to empty feature that came on the 08, cause the 07 did not have that. Hope this helps
