Default first time ape buyer ?'s

ive decided against drags for my 07 deuce, and im gonna go with apes this winter. ive looked at a lot of pictures on here for ideas, and im left with a few questions. i dont know what size i want for sure yet, but im not going insane with height. ill probably end up with 12" or 14" bars. i know ill have to change my cables. here are my questions:

1) will i have to buy or make some kind of wiring harness extension for my controls?
2) i have 6" (i think) risers on my bike now. is that factory riser height for a deuce, or is it something that was added by the previous owner? I want to get my bars as close to the triple tree as possible, i dont think apes on 6" risers would look very good.
3) how expensive is this fly by wire throttle ive seen? sounds like a neat idea and it beats the hell out of buying throttle cables. anyone got it? good, bad, any opinions?
4) im probably going to go with wild 1 chubby's outlawz apes. will the sharp 90 degree bend cause any problems with running internal wiring? http://www.wild1inc.com/orderWO610.html
5) seeing as how this is gonna be my first bike with apes, are there any other issues i should be aware of encountering that i may not know about currently?

thanks for the help!

You could just buy some pre-wired handlebars for hill country which would take care of most of your problems. Here's the link,

Yea I got wild 1 's prewired thru hill county and risers. Only thing you have to address is how much more riding you'll be doing bro because your comfort level is going to go thru the roof

Apes are very comfortable I think. You could buy whatever bars you want and buy the burlybrand kit. Cables, wiring etc.

Im about to put 16'' on.

Carlini's on my ride...Height is a personal decision. Let know what height you are getting and I can get you the cable lengths you need.

is it better to get the pre-wired ones with controls like the hill country ones?
or just get the bars and do your own wiring and stuff?
