I've got the Screamin' Eagle Shotgun Slip-ons on my 2010 Deluxe. I've liked them, but am going to Samson's over the winter because I want something much louder. PM me if you're interested.
The V&H Double Barrel Long's are perfect on the Deluxe. They've got an even better QB in them than the one sold for thier other pipes. They sound great and are not too loud. But it's a full replacement, not just a slip on. It'll bring the pipes down a bit too and out of the way of any passenger's foot or bigger bags.
My wife has Rush 1.75 straightcuts on her 08 Deluxe and they sound about perfect to me. Dealer talked her out of the SEs, said they were barely louder than stock.
I have the 1.75s on my bike also but for some reason they sound better on hers. Her stock pipe had a better sound to them also so I think it may have something to do with the shotgun style over the staggered.
There's a pretty big jump in loudness between the SEs and the Rush but I think you'll be lucky to find much if anything between the two sound levels.
Ideal situation would be if you could hear the different pipes in person before deciding. Next best thing is to pick up a cheap used set that you can try out.
If you dont want loud stay away from cycle shack i have those on my deluxe and they are obnoxiously loud lol. I'm trying SE street perf slip ons this week.
I am running the V&H Straightshot HS slip-ons. Good performance and sound is not too loud. I tried the Cycle Shack slip-on and did not like the sound at all, too quiet.
