The problem with giving advice on what exhaust is right for someone else is that sound is so subjective. I always suggest people go somewhere where there are lots of bikes and listen to various exhausts before making a decision so they do not end up with something they dislike.

Recently put on a set of Rush straight cuts with 1.75" baffles on momma's Deluxe and very happy with the fit, finish and sound. Nice deep rumble over stock but on obnoxiously loud.

I see she went with the straightcuts too. I tried to talk my wife out of putting them on her Deluxe because I didn't think they looked right with the staggered end and all but after I got used to them I think she made a good choice. Great sound too.

I had the same reaction when she wanted the straight cuts but after the install saw that the straight cuts fit the look of the back of the bike with the tombstone tail light and the straight cut of the turn signal lenses. They also have that classic nostaglic look and as you said they sound great!
