Too bad it wasn't a petcock issue. Fuel Pump is $$$.
So I was close by thinking you weren't getting any fuel.

Often it is an upgrade, or design change. Sometimes their not directly compatible, for example the newest date code on my Ignition Module is a module that has a different plug from the original. You need a $45 wiring harness to convert it to be usable on older bikes with earlier versions of the module. And I'll bet it has new, improved electronics inside.

Not for nothing but I wouldn't put stable in my chainsaw nevermind the Harley.
I used it once and it took 2 tanks to flush it through and clean the system.
After that all I use is Seafoam.

ok. im curious. how did you tell it was still in your fuel in the second tank? also, wouldnt any fuel additive do the same and have a little bit hang around?
and what harm would that do? doesnt it just keep the fuel from breaking down?

If I understand you right, I'll try and make it simple for ya. I have a 5 gallon tank. If I added anything to my gas over the winter, it would blend in with those 5 gallons. When I go for a ride, I usually have to put around 3 gallons of gas in my tank before I go home.. That leaves 2 gallons of mixed fuel with additive in it. When I fill up for the 2nd time, there's a good chance that most if not all the additives will be gone. . At least that's how I see it.
