I have finally gotten off my butt and taken a few pictures of my rides. Nothing special and my photography skills suck. Excuse the dirt and grease on the DeLuxe as Ive kinda given up on cleaning for now. Just been way too busy with my 7 month old to clean. As far as cleaning the second bike it doesnt happen. The dirtier the better.
First bike is my '06 DeLuxe that I just installed the carlini gangster apes about 8 months ago and then the bags are about a month or two old. That big *** white mark on the front side of the low side bag must be a reflection. There is nothing on the bike there. Signature picture shows the way it sat about a year ago. I do plan on pushing the bars forward this winter. Looks like Im gonna have to take em partially off anyways to fix my horn wiring so figured I just wait and do both at same time.
The second bike is my '60 Ironhead CH. I love this thing. Sorry, I know its not a softail but still figured Id post a few pictures. Its a rigid rightside jockey shift, kickstart, with a springer front and basically just an old cheap rat. Clutch is on the left hand and back break is right foot. Those are basically the controls.
Enjoy.
And here is my '60 XLCH

Thanks, I used the cyclevision baggertail mounts. Easy and simple install. Hardest part of installing the bags was not the mounts, but putting on the latches for the lids.
Wow Reino, your bike look sick. I really like the ol'skool ironhead.
Thanks man,
I love that thing. Its kinda a pain in the butt to ride but its fun. I have a original 1960 MC plate just waiting for it. Just need to make a mount as the plate is longer and narrower then the VA Antique plates. That mount I acutally made using a cookie sheet, just dont tell the wife. Looks like Ill be using another cookie sheet for the new mount.
