I've had forward control extentions on my 08 Night Train pretty much ever since I got it almost 3 years ago. They put me where I need to be but have a couple drawbacks.
The jiffystand moves forward with the controls, making it weird to pull it back in. It also seems to be more flimsy. It just doesnt seem too solid expecially when I have to park on an incline.
What options are out there that would solve these problems........besides puting the controls back in the stock spot.
I've had the Ness +3 on mine for about a year. It does move the stand forward, but mine don't feel flimsy at all. Could something be loose or worn prematurely?
Yeah I never noticed an issue with mine. I ended up mounting a ness stand on the back of my bike cuz I needed a shorter kickstand, but mine seemed stable on the extended controls.
