Sporty to a Softail?

I've got both; a Softail and a Sportster. As cool as the Sportster is, it will never ride as good as the Softail. These are two very different bikes. I've got no regrets getting the Softail and find myself on it a lot more than the Sportster but I still love the Sportster for what it is.

Looking for experience in the forum. Any regrets getting rid of your sportster for a softail? I have two Sportster's. An 07 Nightster and a 09 XR1200. I'm leaning towards a Fat Boy or Lo and trading up the Nightster. The Nightster is what got me into bikes. I've done a fair amount of aftermarket to her and love the looks. The problem is the ride comfort for 2up. I'm fine, it's my wife that isn't comfy. So, do I trade the Nightster in or do I hold onto it and get the Fatboy when I can afford 3 ponies? I'd love to have 3 in the stable, but it's hard to justify.

If your goal is 2-up comfort then I would deal the sporty but look at something other than a Fatboy. They are surely better than a Sporty but if you plan on doing long rides or any touring then I'd get the little lady something with a seat..

I had a 2006 1200c which I loved.I also put a allot of money in it but I don't regret buying my deluxe one bit my wife also loves to ride with me now.she never would go on the sporty.here is a quick pic of my sporty dam i miss her

Had a 07 1200Low. Loved that bike but now have a 09 Deluxe. Wife rides with me now so it works better for us. Would love to have kept both but since I have 3 in college I couldnt afford both. Would love to get another Sportster someday.
