I agree, these are pricey but they are the best on the market for brightness and looks. I tried several cheaper ways for LED turn signals and run brake turn rear lights. But I sold them all I tried, except these in the links above.the Kuryakyn LED's look way better at night and in the day than the others I tried IMHO. Stay away from the 1157 or 1156 bulbs with LED heads IMHO. The custom dynamics stuff are a good alternative to the Kuryakyn LED's. Here is the link to when I did mine. https://www.hdforums.com/forum/softa...-pictures.html

Here are the fronts on running lights, flashing on Hazzard, unplugged or off.
I covered the headlights with rags to stop the glare on the camera.

See how bright they are.

Have to agree with NIKON, I have LED tail light bulbs in mine. Didnt have to bother with the load equalizer at all. They just plug and play. Bought them at advanced, auto zone has em too. $30 top $40 bucks for a pair. Look WAY better than OEM. Would post pics, but scoot is all apart, and with powder coater.

But, they look great, they have that smoked clear look, til you light them up then they are bright!! They have 12 or 13 indivdiual leds in them. They look good, well worth the extra cheddar. IMHO.

Lets see, had them for about a year with no problems.

I think I may have 'accidentally' done that when I tested the rear LED's I had after I rewired the HD run/turn/brake module for turn/brake only operation.

I rewired it that way because I was not very happy with it as is.
I used older style LED's that didn't show a lot of difference between the run and brake functions.
Now when I hit the brakes the whole rear lights up like a Christmas tree when the turns and the Tri-Bar tail light come on.
You can now get better dual brightness LED's from places like Custom Dynamics if you want to use the full run/turn/brake setup.
Me I'll stick to what I have, I like the way everything comes on when I hit the brakes. It states in no uncertain terms to anyone behind me I'm stoppiing.
I think Biketronics makes a module for brake/turn only called the 'Tailstopper' if your interested.
