and just as I thought, their front WWW is wider than that of an Avon. The WWW extends all the way to the bead of the tire so there will not be a black strip around the middle of rim as there is now. In this pic you can see what I am talking about on my Avon.
This is most likely due to the fact that I have a 90/21 tire stretched onto a 21x3 rim, but the Metzeler is white all the way to the center.

They must all be like that Drew.I have the same 90 90 21 Avon ww mouted on a 21 x 2.15 rim .And have that blackstrip around the rim as well.
Drew, do you use those magic erasers for day to day cleaning, or just to remove the protective coating? Never gave that a thought, but I bet it has less negative effect on the tires that bleche white.
I always use magic erasers with Shout laundry stain remover sprayed on the eraser to clean the WWW's. It works great. I have a bottle of Bleche white here but have never used it.
I've used bleche white and mean green on the stock white walls. It works good enough for them, but when I end up having metzelers or custom db's on my bike, I will be doing everything I can to baby them so they look great for as long as possible.
The tires are not mounted yet, I am waiting for my Dyna Beads to arrive.

Do the Dyna Beads really work? Any reported problems with them? I'd be willing to try anything that would eliminate the need to put those ugly weights on my 80-spoke chrome HD wheels.

The Dyna beads work great. They are not the easiest to install. I just dropped my wheels at the shop to have the tires changed and the mechanic rolled his eyes when I pulled out the Dyna beads. He hates putting them in.

Yes, they do, and I swear by them. Although I wouldnt recommend them if you ride consistently over 110-120 mph (they aint track legal). If it makes any difference, Hog Pros uses them in everything they mount so you dont have those unsightly wheel weights on such a beautiful wheel. And before you ask, you can stuff the beads inside the tube too. Just make sure you cut the tube open and recover the beads when you change tires/tubes. They are reusable.
