The Dyna beads work great. They are not the easiest to install. I just dropped my wheels at the shop to have the tires changed and the mechanic rolled his eyes when I pulled out the Dyna beads. He hates putting them in.

Give him a beer and a couple of Valliums and that'll change his tune...
My tire guy had to roll my front tire on by hand last time because he machine was broke. Don't want to know what he would have said if I ask for dyna beads.
Ok, the tires on. The dyna beads are really easy to put it in if you are putting tires on at the same time. I watched the mechanic do one tire and I did the other.I run tubes, so we put a little air in the tube, put the beads in the dyna bead bottle, and attached it to the hose that came with the beads. Fill the hose 3/4 of the way, take the bottle off the end and shake the hose up and down and they fall right in. Repeat until they are all in the tube. It took about 10 minutes to do the rear tire with 2 ounces of Dyna beads.
Here is a pic of the Metzeler front tire. It's a bit dirty still but you get the idea of the wider whitewall. I have not taken the bike for a spin yet, but I will report back once I do.
On the Avon, the bead portion of the tire is black.

I do not doubt Drew healing abilities ,
But another option in Canada is Pete superbike , you will need to register but their pricing including shipping in Canada is INCREDIBLE !, I bought all my tires from them and have always been cheaper than anyone else.
The dealers tried to shut them down a few times, they actually forbid them from advertising the prices online, hence the requirement to 'register'. !!
Send me a PM. I lived in Toronto for 5 yrs well, just outside between the 401and 400 and know a few people that can hook you up on parts. Just do not ask who or why-LOL
Yeah, gotta say the metz look better when the white wall goes all the way up to the rim. I use bleche white on my white walls. Does bleche white damage the tire? Not tryin to hijak a thread just curious. Also, would you use the beads on fat spokes? maybe a dumb question But Im Askin it anyways.

The Bleche White does not damage anything. I just get nervous when i read the bottle and says to make sure you wear gloves. My tried and true method of cleaning the WWW's is Shout! laundry stain remover on a Mr. Clean magic eraser. That is how I got all the blue crap off the tires yesterday. I went through a few erasers as you have to scrub for the blue to come off, but once they are white you gently wipe the WWW with this combination and wipe with a clean white towel and they look brand new.
The beads make no difference on what kind of wheel you use them on, except the application. I use them on any and all kinds of wheels. I prefer putting them in when I get new tires as getting them is easier. With tubeless tires just dump them in once the lower bead is set. With a tube, put them in as I described above. I have also read that if you already have the tires on, use a dremel on the hose with the beads in it and that gives it just enough "shake" to help them into the tire.
