Any 21" (120/70/21) White Wall tires out there besides Vee Rubber. I was at the dealership checking out some Stretched Bags when the parts guy and I noticed some coupling in my front tire, again. The 1st time was about 5-6 months ago. I had the tire replaced at my cost with another Vee Rubber.
Vee Rubber stated that the tire was either over inflated or under inflated. Bullshit...maybe the 1st time but not this time.

Well, where else would cupping come from? I have Vee rubber 21 front tire, know many other guys with vee rubber 21 front tire and none of us, myself included, have had a problem with the tire after thousands of miles of riding. As with any cupping issue on a tire....it always comes down to inflation. If the tire was bad, im sure it wouldve come apart by now. Ask me how I know....

how do you know..?
Well the 1st time yes I would have to say lack of inflation. But not this time. Plus around here as I am starting to find out they have a reputation of this.
Actually, Dunlop has a reputation for tires that cup. The stock tires on the 09 and newer baggers are known to cup frequently regardless of tire pressure. I ran Vee's on my softail for years and never had a front cup but it could also have to do with road surface and condition, how it is balanced, if it is balanced, etc. There are many factors that come in to play with tires.
The softail was a much lighter bike as well and i would expect to see a lot more wear on a bagger front tire due to the dual disc brakes and 250 pound weight difference.

Hmm....how do I know? Had a Vee rubber rear tire come apart on me about 2 months ago. Looked like cupping at first and paid it no mind. Well going down the road at 70 mph, bike felt sluggish and immediately slowed to a crawl upon letting off the throttle. And like he said ^^^^^ my front tire on my 2012 roadie is cupped all to hell. Always kept the tire inflated to the correct pressure and it still cupped. I just chalked it up to the recommended pressure from harley is just wrong. hell, it aint like they havent made mistakes before.

Well the good thing is you made it ok.
Thanks for all the info.
That cheap Vee Rubber and the fact that no quality manufacture makes a decent WWW 21 is much of the reason I sold my fat spoke 21 and went back to the stock front wheel. Maybe one day if AVON comes out with their promised tire I will rethink a 21, but for now I am done with WWW 21's.
