Found some FL stlye bags. I think these are new to the market because they came up recently on Craigslist and eBay. The sellers area code is Orange County, So Cal. Price seems very good although the hardware can add up. Anyone try these. I contacted a couple eBay buyers and here is what they said:
I did receive them and gave them a quick look .the abs is
about 75% of Harley . Look good. Top lids have a moulded
latch which I'm a little concerned about they will look good
when painted. No latchs
I am very pleased with the quality of these bags, but keep in mind, they require the use of harley latches,hardware,etc....which till you buy everything you need will run you another $400 unless you get the harware from a wrecked bike or ebay. I bought mine on ebay...paid $317 for it and stll have to purchase 2 locks which will be another $100. check bikebandit.com for all hardware. any touring bike saddlebag hardware will work.people are advertising latches but they are only covers...they are not the hinges and will not do you any good. But these bags themselves are great quality.good luck
Dont let the dealer tell you those locks are $45 each. The price is about $45 for the SET and they can match to your ignition key. If they insist they are $45 each, like mine did, make sure they agree that when they are wrong they will not charge you for the special order of the SET of locks you dont need.
