Default Apes Slipping on Crossbones

16" apes on original '08 Crossbones risers are slipping and slowly rotating. How can a prevent further slippage?

If the knurling has paint on them I would use a dremel with a brush to get the paint off, if that doesnt work try wrapping teflon tape around the knurling of the bars after you take the paint off.

The bars were powder coated... I'll check the knurling and have them cleaned up/wrapped.
