What kind of mirrors are you guys running with your apes? Im about to put some new handlebars on and wanted to change my mirrors to something else. Its hard to tell what I would want without seeing them on the bike. If anyone has some pictures that would be great. Thanks
I used my originals just flipped them upside downand switched sides although im thinking of going with something diffrent.
I like being able to see what is going on in my mirrors. The stock mirrors fit this need well. I swapped to some small ones for a while but could not see anything in them.
i have the stock mirrors on top
if i change them out the new ones will be the same size
i road my buddys bike with small mirrors & could not see much of anything
Quite a few different styles out there. The stocks ones will work until you see something that fits the look you're going for.
I'm going to use my HD Bullet mirrors on my BR bars. My bars only have a 13" rise, so I think the stock placement is going to work out great.
I'm with Drew on having mirrors that are useable. I had flat glass mirrors in the past and they were almost useless. I know some hate the convex mirrors, I love seeing what's around me.
Just got these. Not too small, would not go smaller though, can see whats goin on behind me no problem. Took a day to get used to a non convex mirror - no big deal. Fit great with the shorter stems included. Very surprised at the quality and looks. PIc does not do them justice. It was 1/2 off of the price listed. Even worth full price imo. Did change the stem to mirror mounting screw to a philips head to tighten better.
