Default Springer Brakes

Hello, new to the board, owner of a 01 FLSTSI which is a Heritage Springer. Love the bike, I'm 59yrs old so it fits my age group. I would like to improve the front brake. Currently it is the older single puck caliper. Does anyone know of an upgrade caliper made or have any other suggestions. Thanks for your input.

There are many six piston calipers that can be bolted on. Check with your local parts guy or Dr V Twin.

A 4 piston from Hawg Halter or Performance machine will improve braking tremendously.

I don't have a springer but run PM calipers front and rear. I have to say they have made the single biggest difference. I consider my brakes the second most important piece of safety equipment on my bike, second only to my tires. I can get you the calipers too, either brand recommended above at a discount!

Im considering this upgrade myself in the near future. The stock springer brakes are too soft. Im looking into Hawg Halters for my bones... if you get a decent set of brakes for your springer let me know.
