The lining of the helmet is nice
The fit is good
The look....as my girlfriend said "bobblehead." or "marvin the martian"
Attached are two pics: The titanium grey DOT
Biltwell Gen 2 red wine mega flake pinstriped by Shawn at Imperialhouse71.

I canceled my order on a Head Trip Carbonfiber 3/4 non-dot helmet. I might reorder that to see how it fits, feels etc...
Well THANK YOU SIR!!!! You sir just saved me $99.00 Yep im gonna pass on that lid...lol....
Man...It's too bad that all DOT lids give that martian effect... Biltwell/Fulmer/Bell/ect...There is quite the difference between the DOT and non-DOT....
As for that "Head Trip" carbonfiber 3/4 lid non-DOT... Its smaller than the Biltwell non-DOT and fits great also. It's also padded everywhere on the inside. Very well made lid!!! The "HeadTrip" is better made than the "Biltwell"...One thing i highly recommend is to get the metal strap clasp as i have the plastic one. And at high speeds, it has minor strap slippage, of which wouldn't happen with the metal clasp.
I like both the Biltwell and the HeadTrip ... non-DOT of course.
Sizing "HeadTrip" vs. "Biltwell" non-DOT

Amen brother...lol...Agreed!!! It's a very nice lid "but not $400.00 nice".
LOL No joke, I mean a cool design but $400 (helmet is $115 retail) is crazy. There isnt any gold leaf or anything on that...
ive paid 1/2 that for helmets Shawn has done (including the helmet cost)...

Those are great comparison pics Thank You. I'm with Blk n Chrome I am gonna have to pass on that lid. that thing is huge.I wonder how much smaller the s,m shell is.That makes my size Med. Fulmer v2 look like a non DOT Biltwell. Thanks again for the pics. I believe you saved quite a few people a hundy spot.

Since biltwell online store has a no refund policy, all those who i just saved $99 plus shipping can send me $5 for the sacrifice i just made LOL
I like the flat titanium color though, hopefully/maybe they will do it for NON-DOT HELMET
