heres mine a buddy found in a dumpster...no all my buddies are not dumpster divers...he drives a roll off truck. i would say its about 30-35 yrs old

received my Head Trip Carbon Fiber 3/4 helmet today in the mail. I posted a pic of me wearing it in the post so you can compare to a DOT Biltwell and a Non-DOT Biltwell...

This helmet is light weight and very comfy interior.

I 1000% think they are better built and better protection than a non-Dot Biltwell. The HeadTrip has a better/stronger shell than the Biltwell. And its full space (dense) foam lined on the inside. The Biltwell is only partially lined.. mostly just with cloth and padding around the facial opening.

If i remember correctly i paid $115.00 shipped for the HeadTrip lid. Directly from them. I just asked them to match thier e-bay pricing. And they agreed without a hitch. Great lid!

ONE THING I HIGHLY RECOMMEND IF GETTING A HEADTRIP IS TO GET THE METAL STRAP CLASP!!!

I noticed you didn't get the snaps on your lid... I asked them to install those snaps so i can sport my Fulmer bubble shield with it. Check it out...

Yeah I forgot to ask for the snaps. I have a yellow bubble i use occassionally on long trips with my biltwell
