Rinehart is killing me
As for performance, its like a new bike, lots of power! The slightest touch on the throttle and you feel it. When stock I would crack the throttle and the power would roll on but now when I nail the throttle the bike flat out takes off. Keep in mind this is just with a basic map; the shop says when I dyno it will be even better.
I hit the interstate on the ride home and rolled the throttle on the entrance ramp next thing I new I was at 85 and passing the everybody. Didnt run it too hard as I didnt want to get a ticket. I can definitely say it has much more power.
Ill get a sound clip for you soon!
By the way how is the quality on the pipes?

Since I would rather have a piece of schedule 40 drainpipe instead of looking at a 2 into 1, my first pipes were a set of V&H Big Radius.
The peformance was decent, and because of my particular build, the engine was incredibly loud, but they sounded like crap. Too tinny and EVERYBODY had a set.
They had to go.
When the Crossbacks came out, I ordered. What I got was an all around better performing machine with zero decel pop and a more consistant power curve and throttle response..
Personally, I don't worry about dyno figures on a 100 hp motorcycle. I've owned fast and powerful japper bikes before, and frankly, Harley just ain't one of the engines that make me say wow.. I'm 51years old, and I'm past the drag racing days.
Don't ask me for dyno sheets. I don't fret or spend money for dyno time trying to chase down an extra horse or two on a Harley, so I don't split those hairs, but the bike runs much better down low, smooth as silk, and the sound is..well.. I think it's one of the best sounding Harleys I have ever heard, and it makes enough power to take out my friends Honda 600CC ricer which is always good for a laugh...
I get compliments on the pipes and sound all the time, especially from the local police.
I know Rinehart has squeezed down the pipe right after the port to make more power. I don't know if the standard 2 into 2 pipes are designed that way. If they are, then by all means, be patient...It will be worth it.

Hey Sash I did a quick video/audio clip and will post if someone will tell he how to post a video clip. Do I need to put it on YouTube first?
You asked about quality, the pipes are well built and the chrome was flawless. Everything lined up perfectly. I would recommend them and like George C said they are worth the wait. I wanted the 2 into 2 flush chrome but so glad I went with the crossbacks. I don't think you can go wrong either way! If you fo go with the crossbacks they will look great on your FB LO.
