Default Rocker C Mods

I am getting ready to pick-up my Rocker-C in a couple of weeks and was looking for some good ideas/pics for mobs I can do to the bike. I have read on these forums that a lot of people don't like the seat because it is uncomfortable. I would like a seat that closes the gap between the stock seat and the rear finder because I will be riding solo and that gap is not very appealing to my eyes. So if there are other Rocker C riders out there, give me some ideas/suggestions.

Thanks.

As far as the seat goes you have two choices. Go with a Heartland kit which removes the Rocker feature or change the seat. The std Rocker seat with a lowered rear closes the gap and gets you down in the bike as does Danny Gray etc. etc. or you can get an accordion seat ie. Bitchin seats. Do a search to see examples of all the above.

The other mod I would do soon is remove that damn liscence plate and light. Put a side mount on and either cover the fender holes, bob it or have it filled and painted. Lots of choices.

Other mods are endless. Apes, tank lift, wheels, paint, mirror turn signals, stage one etc.etc. Have fun and let the mods begin!

Two things will close the gap one just like MadScot said changing the seat but also lowering the the bike with either extended bolts on current shocks or air suspension.

As far as the seat goes the prices are OMG when you consider what your buying, having said that it does make a world a difference to the eye IMHO. Before I knew about all these seat options I buit my own seat pan and had it wrapped. For being my first it wasnt to bad and if I wouldnt have gone with the heartland I would have made me another seat pan just a little better.

Here is a pic with my home made seat and lowered with bolts.

I went to a guy around where I live, who is specialized in making individual customseats for motorcycles.
I’m happy with this seat and it was about the same price as a Danny Gray seat.
And don’t forget to lower the bike if you want the gap real close.

Your bike looks great, but I really like the look of the front fender you have in the small picture.

What color are you getting? I put the stock rocker seat on and am so/so happy with it. It is more comfotable than the trick seat. I put on Big radius 2-2 pipes. (Looks like everyone else did too.) I moved the license plate to the side and welded the holes and painted the fender. And Powder coated the wheels. I am very happy with how it turned out but the wife doesn't like the way the bank account turned out.
Good luck with whay ever you do. It's your bike so what ever you do you'll love it.

HARLEY HAS ONLY TWO COLORS...BLACK AND UGLY!!
Okay what's the second color?
I got a Danny Gray and love it. It does make it into a straight up solo rider though, unless you get the FXCW struts and passenger pillion also.

Just teasing ya man. I have a buddy who also loves black Harleys and Vetts. That's the only color he'll get them in. We tease each other all the time.
