I've got a buddy that has an 05 injected Heritage and wants to put on Supertrapp Supermeg 2/1's. Anyone running these? He's curious about the loudness using those little discs. I think he wants the performance just not the high decibels.

Didn't know they had injected Harley's in 05? Thought the first year was 06
But if you want quiet, Supertrapp Supermeg is the way to go. Bassani...not quiet at all. I agree there are numerous great 2 into 1 pipes. Everyone knows my preference. But for quiet as I just said, the Supertrapp is the way to go.
I put V & H two into one's on my 06 FI Heritage and I like the sound and looks alot. I took SE slipons off. I think I can feel a difference, especially low end torque, but maybe I'm trying to justify the purchase. I won't have it dyno'd to find out though! Pretty easy install and you can't beat V & H chrome.
My supertrapp looks and sounds great, It is very close to the bag though and I do think that
they could have made the heat shield a bit bigger to solve the discoloration issue.
I'm gonna rivet a metal plate to the bottom of the bag over the winter so it dont burn!
