Calling Paughco is a good idea if planning to go springer with a stock HD springer look. They have items not listed in there online catalogs and can get you set up over the phone. Paugcho makes great springers. Springers with a shock have a lot less pogo effect then springers with out shocks just food for thought.

Winging it worked for joewhat. Does anyone know how far back, year wise, I can go? I don't know if 90's years have different necks or not.

J&P Cycles list the Paughco Narrow Springer Front End Assembly as compatable with the 2008-2011 Rocker (see under Fitment). I called Paugcho and they said that it will fit, but 1) you will need to go with a narrower wheel, 2) you need to go with a different axel, 3) you will need a Paughco caliper kits, and 4) if you want a fender, there are no fender mounts, and it will require a new fender and fabrication so the fender will mount.
As to using an older HD springer front end, I believe you are going to have a problem with rake and trail as the fork length will be shorter than needed.

Thanks for the info, I just have to decide if I want to do it this winter or next. I've already dumped a fair amount of money into her and neglected other stuff, but I'll probably do it anyway. LOL

Just wanted to ammend the above statement regarding narrower wheel, it is not the wheel that needs to be narrower, but the axle hub as it is a narrow springer and the Rocker wheel is for mid fork trees.
Someone just needs to do it. Remember
When all parts said fits all softails except rocker
Well we are still there and we wont know until
it's done. So getr done. Lol ; )

your right!!
now I am prepared to take one for the team.... There is a guy willing to make me one from scratch, unfortunely I am financially challenged at the moment, I am prepared to allow all Rocker owners and interested members to send me just $1 which I will gladly put towards the 6k I need to do the job...
