Maybe someone can explain something to me, with posting photos, I seem to be getting links in the post instead of actual images, then when I click on the link I get redirected to a page saying I'm not authorized to view the page. This is even happening for my own images that I've posted. How exactly do I get permission to view those images? I feel like I'm only getting half of the forums when I can't see pictures in threads.
And now that I can see photos it seems that the photo I thought I was posting of my Crossbones is actually a photo from my trip to Boston a few months back...
Hey Vic, please , pretty please, roll those bars the other way forward , that's what Chaz God bless his soul would say anyways .
Yeah, they were already moved up about 3 inches from where they were in that picture, that's just where the dealer had them positioned when I picked it up.
I'm actually going to get rid of the mini-apes, I don't find I enjoy the riding position with them all that much. I was considering beach bars, but I think they'll be too much the opposite end of the spectrum. I think I may pick up a pair of fatboy or road king take-offs and see how they feel. Not sure if the springer front end riser position will give me issues with this though.
Either way, I have all winter to think about this, as it's in storage at the moment.

Try to look at shade tree fabrications, Excel cycles, not to buy their product but just to get an idea of the direction they take the bike into.
Take your time, when I picked my bike, I hated the color and bobtail fender, wished if the tire was wider, and now, I can not tell you how much I love the fender, color and would NEVER get a wider tire.
Our taste is a funny creature and it feeds on our history, memories, and to a large extent what our eyes register around us, so look at lots and lots of pics
