Default Heritage Classic Chrome front end

I want to get a chrome front end on my 04 HC. What all do I need to get, where do I get it, and how much is it going to cost me. I just got 14" Hill Country Wild1 apes with chrome switches and thinking about 50 spoke wheels.
I think chrome front end is the next logical step.

they cost around $300 from H-D and another $75 for the bells (you want them too) You can find them cheaper on ebay.

Figure 3 hours of labor if your not doing it

Might as well replace the headlight tins, too.

I would 100% scratch out buying from a dealer... Go to E-Bay... I think the full chrome HD kit with lowers/back plates/front plate/bells/axle covers/ect... can be had for a little over $200.00... And at your dealer $599.00 for the very same kit.

Do you like your dealer more than your wallet...lol... because after going to the dealer your wallet will be empty.

I purchased my full chrome kit for $122.00 shipped....

Another vote for an eBay purchase. I think I paid around $225 for the complete Harley-Davidson kit with the chrome bells and all the other chrome trinkets, seals etc. I also have all my original stuff which you never know might be important if I ever have to sell the bike . . . no accounting for the taste of an unknown buyer!

Also, at 10K miles the Fork Oil looked like S***, so I now have a new maintenance interval for Fork Oil.

If there is a good chome shop in your area you can always just take them out and have them chomed for you its the cheapest option, a lot of places will trade your old ones plus 250-275 and give you chrome ones

I've looked on ebay but all I can find is one for 2007 and up. Will this fit a 2004?

+1 on ebay and even if you don't want to do the install yourself take the parts to either your dealer or a local shop and just pay the labor your still going to save several hundred bucks.
