Is the sensor controlled by some chip? Wouldn't it be possible for a company to sell a chip or program download that would solve the firing on startup?
My guess is there wouldn't be a market enough for a company to develop this.

I don't claim to be an expert on this, but from what i've heard (all second hand info), it can be done, but you will need to convert to a complete different ignition system, one that doesn't have an ignition delay.
Also, while I can appreciate the "cool factor" of a kick bike, if you have a dead battery on your FI bike, you still ain't starting that bike, kickstart or not.
