getting conflicting threads search for 260 met rear tire will it fit on stock rocker c before put out $420 Canadian on it. only getting about 7000 km on stock tire.
I've been told a 260 will fit, but never seen it. Seems like it would have VERY little clearance though. Probably depends on brand of tire as they aren't all the same. Just like shoes are different. Not sure how aggressive you ride, but I got 11,000 mi. on my current one. Got a nail it the original at 2,000 and the dealer wouldn't fix it, but I'm gonna fix it and put it back on this winter.
Metz 260 is actually smaller than advertised so yes it does fit w/o any modifications.
As far as I know is the problem the 8'' rim of the rocker. If you use a 9'' rim the metz will be 260mm wide.
But then you have to change or modify fender, rear wheel spacers, pulley and brake.
The rocker on this pic has also a 260 metzeler, but a larger rim.
