I had mini apes from the factory, with 4" pull back risers, changed that to drag bars, then changed out the risers to these 3" strait, and these 3.5 inch Z bars. I have had them on for the last year and a half. guess they are about as tall as drags with a 6" rise. Ordering 16" ape hangers today. going to drags definitely changed the handling of the bike. felt like i could dig into corners more like my old crotch rocket. then when i changed to these, they are a lot wider, made the bike a lot easier to ride, but i think i lost a little of that "race feel" out of it.

Hopefully after my winter mods (just got new seat, ordering apes and grips today, rims and tires in the next couple weeks) hopefully she'll start to feel like a new set of chuck taylors!!!!!!!!

I have the LA Choppers bars on four inch risers. I'm like'n them. They are a bit wide for my taste. But the hight is good. Try what ya like and roll with it.
