Default Front brake lever switch (broken)

How hard is it to replace the front lever brake switch. Rookie mistake, I didnt shim it and the head of the switch broke off.

you live and you learn.

Thanks

I broke mine off too about 60,000 miles ago... tapped in a small button head screw and it has been working fine.

Mine has been broken for at least 3 years. I have never bothered to replace it. One day soon though...

Must be more common than I thought. Mine broke last summer when I dumped it in some sand. Brake light flickers constantly now, just the right spot I guess. Dealer missed it when they fixed the bike and now it's too late to claim it on ins. I'll have to dick with it when I get home. I like the button head screw idea, if I can find one small enough.

It's a crime that something so important is made so cheaply and easily broken. It's as if they hadn't charged enough for the bike that they had to cut corners.

Shouldn't be hard to replace, I've had mine of before, but I know they cost about ten times what they're worth to get a new one, so fix yours if you can.

Mine still works but the top popped off. I think I use the small screw idea. I just have to fine something small to use...

Great Idea
